When we first moved out to the area, the building housed a little store. The area has always been rural but over the years the city has moved out to meet it. When a new grocery store was built close by and people no longer had to drive 20 minutes for milk and bread Caine's Grocery closed. Soon afterward a small engine repair shop opened there.
