Car Art

Work was stressful today.

I de-stressed by spending my lunch hour sketching again. More pen and ink drawings with colored pencils on old calendar pieces.
Hope you like them.

  2. I do love them. I have four letters for you: ETSY.

And, only you could get away with a whole category called "Lunch Hour!" :-)

  5. Wow, on your lunch hour! They are so cute. I am going to check out the rest of your art work. I can draw a bit...nothing like that. My daughter is graphic designer. She also loves owls too. I make little owl gifts for her. Thanks for adding me to your blog list.

  6. Oh, I love, love, love your owls. I love the colors and their charming faces. Charming! I agree with Beth, ETSY for sure!!!! Unless, you know, you want to wrap them up and send them to me!

I'm curious, did you sketch them over calendar pictures as you did your Jane Austen sketches? What a creative idea, meshing two images and their colors together -- like double exposures in photography!

  7. Thank you everyone for your nice comments. Yes, they are sketched over the old calendar pieces. I think I tossed some of the calendar because I got tired of cutting it up. Now I regret that, even though I still have a lot more cards.

Maybe we could have a drawing for the cards. I'll give that some thought.

I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
