Circa 1969

I went looking for something else and in doing so I found this. Since some of you wanted to see it, here it is. Like I said, its not very good, but I was only 15 and knew nothing about watercolor technique.

The only reason I still have this watercolor is because my mother never gets rid of anything. She returned a couple of old sketch pads and some paintings to me a couple of years ago.

  1. I always find long lost items by way of searching for something else! I really like this, Stevie! I'd say it's pretty darn good for age 15. :^)

  5. I am so glad that you shared that with us. I can not beleive you were just 15. I like it very much.
I have my daughter's first sketch book. She started taking lessons in the third grade. Again, thanks for sharing you are very very talented.

  6. Are you kidding me? I could sit in front of a canvas for a year and not produce anything near as good. But anyway, its fabulous!! If I were you I would frame it. I enlarged it and it is wonderfully rendered!

  7. This is a great picture! You are gifted. I love the reflection in the water. I hope it's getting cooler for you in Alabama as it is here in Georgia. Bring on the crisp fall weather.

I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
