Today's question is.....

small children could get lost in this

...whether or not I'm going to get up, go outside and mow the grass now while the temp is a "cool" 86 degrees with 67% humidity and the current heat index of 93 degrees...instead of waiting to later today when the temp will climb to 98 degrees with a heat index of 104 to 111 degrees.

This is what I call a lose/lose situation.

  1. My husband mowed the lawn last night before the heat and humidity returned! I have a good excuse for cleaning house today -- our house has A/C!

  2. Linda, we have had non-stop heat and humidity for weeks now. Everyday I think I'll mow when it cools down...but it never does!

  3. I hope before you mow, that you check the grass for small children! I am so sorry that it is so hot there!

Way to hot here too. What a crummy summer.

  5. You poor baby. Take your time. Drink plenty of fluids. You could do the alternative and tell people you are establishing a prairie garden. ;)

  7. Old saying - "never do today what you can put off until tomorrow". I think I would wait a few tomorrows if I were you.
86 degrees - wow. As Paris Hilton would say (albeit in a different context) That's HOT!

  10. Don't mow. You would not want to risk injury to a small child lost in the grass. I know how much you want to mow, but really, it's more noble not to.

I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
