It's Official!

Fall has officially arrived in Alabama. I smelled burning leaves today.

The smell....love it or hate it?

  3. Love the smell of burning leaves. Also enjoy the faint smell of wood smoke when it's cold outside.

Bad news? Prolonged exposure to either of these will trigger massive horrible headache.

  8. It has been so long since I smelled burning leaves that I really can't remember if I liked it or not...I do love the smell of wood burning...an nice campfire...good thing too since my neighbors seem to have a fire going every night:)

I love the illustrations in old magazines...and it is so much fun to leaf through them and read the old articles...

  11. I love the smell but it makes my sinuses go crazy. We have a burning ban here. No fires, not even for weiner roasts. Ugh... Can't imagine being outside raking leaves in the get up that the gal on the magazine has on. Another world.

  12. Wish I could smell it! Leaves are not allowed to burned in the NYC because of danger of fire...we bag them up to recycle them.
