Met 2 fellow bloggers.
Daryl and Mary, flew into town this weekend to visit Virginia (Mary is both woman's travel pal). When I found out, I had to run down and meet them all.
Thanks Mary for taking this photo!
Wandered around Pepper Place Saturday Market with 2 of my Texas granddaughters.
These 2 girls were in town to meet up with their granddad and Bebe for a road trip. But first, I had them for a quick visit. They were off early this morning on their adventure. Have fun girls!
Oggled an assortment of fruits and veggies and bought a cantaloupe for 2 dollars.
Don't these peaches look delish? I don't know why I didn't buy any.
Brought home a bouquet of sunflowers that was 2 pretty!
I couldn't leave with taking this "Patiently Waiting" photo for Daryl.
I hope these 2 pups didn't get 2 hot in their fur coats. It was blazing hot by the time we left.
Oh.. what a perfectly peachy week-end you all had!

Lucky you getting to meet blogger friends. Your Grands are so cute. I know what you mean about these furry dogs. Poor Luna doesn't get to go as much during summer. She feels left out but I worry about her heart condition and the heat. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteHow neat! Stevie you have the prettiest smile!
ReplyDeleteOh, fun times! :)
ReplyDeleteI see a resemblance between you and your pretty granddaughters, Stephanie. The peaches do look perfect, maybe buy some next time!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend dear Stephanie.;) And yes, love those peaches.;))
ReplyDeleteLove in fact all your images.;))
Have a lovely summer dear friend,
xoxo
Love the Waiting Patiently snap, I took a photo of that same dog! LOVED meeting you and your beautiful Grands ... I had a fabulous time, after I got used to that heat .. I am for sure coming back .. gotta get to spend more time with you!
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to meet a blog friend, Stevie. Did Daryl have a New Yawk accent? Mine would be much worse...lol :)
ReplyDeleteHope your grand daughter have fun on their trip!
The fruit and veggie man looks so much like my younger brother, it is uncanny!
MMmmmmmm, fresh peaches! How could you resist?? Looks like a fun weekend indeed!
ReplyDeleteSo far, I've only met one fellow blogger, Chis of Enchanted Oak. We had lunch in her lovely hometown of Templeton, CA. We got on as though we'd known each other forever.
ReplyDeleteUmmm, those peaches! I used to love it in the old days, before interstates when I'd have to drive from the Atlanta airport to Columbus, when I'd pass through little towns selling the most fabulous GA peaches by the roadside. I'd finish half of them by the time I got to my mother's. Then we'd make peach cobbler out of the rest.
You're so lucky to have those grandkids. My son and his wife are working hard to make me a grandmother!
Those peaches look great. My mouth is watering! Hope you enjoyed your time with your fellow bloggers - Dave
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!!! Thanks for sharing. Blessings
