Going up....Mood Elevator

There's something about flags fluttering in the wind that puts me in a good mood. What are some of the little things that lift your spirits?

  1. Tall sunflowers waving in the wind. Tall garden phlox perfuming the summer air. Butterflies flitting through the garden. Watching my crazy dog sleep in the sun on a blistering hot day. Finding cheerful posts of blogging friends.

  4. What lifts my spirits right now? I love being able to open the doors first thing in the morning and hear the sounds of summer! The birds are tweeting, roosters crowing, and the occasional lawn mower, mowing!
I am not sure why but I have been having a hard time leaving a comment, this is my 4th attempt. It is my computer, so I am going to try leave it as anonymous. I hope this works!

  12. Being serenaded by our resident song thrush on a summer's evening. Wonderful.

I'm in agreement with most of the above too.

  13. The ocean can lift my spirits like nothing else. I am so fortunate to be only about three miles from the Pacific. I love its many moods and seeing the sun set into the water is especially soothing to me.

I also love fields of daisies and bright orange California poppies!
