I'm sewing today.
I have a cute idea for aprons for the granddaughters. I'll do show and tell later if the project is successful.
Tonight I am attending Shadowlands, a play about this man's life.
We'll talk more later! Hope your Saturday is full of whatever you desire.
Aprons for granddaughters! What a wonderful rainy day project. I wonder just how many grand daughters have aprons these says? My guess is far too few. Yes, please show and tell later and enjoy your play!
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughters are lucky girls! Fun project. I love these sewing pix.
ReplyDeleteAnd...I love the film Shadowlands with Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger. I cry every single time I watch it. Fill us in on the play...I know I would enjoy it, too.
Sounds like a wonderful Saturday!
ReplyDeleteI'll look forward to the show and tell with the aprons. You should print off the apron essay I posted a while back...I bet they would enjoy that! Enjoy the play!
It sounds like you have a busy fun day planned. I think aprons are so neat. I can't wait to see a picture of the girls in their new parons.
ReplyDeleteSteviewren, it looks like you are sewing a gown there, and is that a new hairstyle? I see you are going for a slightly 'retro' look....tee hee..
ReplyDeleteI think it was Betsy over at myfivemnen who did a post on aprons recently. She will want to see the results of your sewing efforts, I'll bet.
ReplyDeleteCan hardly wait myself!
D'oh! I just read the other comments and noticed Betsy...that gal is always one step ahead of me!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what he would think of his Narnia and Prince Caspian books being made into movies. I know they didn't necessarily follow the books to the "T", but our family sure enjoyed them.
ReplyDeletewhat a cute idea! i can't wait to see them! i made matching christmas aprons for my mom, my daughter, my granddaughter and me a couple of years ago. i'll probably post photos closer to christmas!
ReplyDeleteI love aprons, they have really made a comeback over the past few years. People are using such great fabrics. Looking forward to seeing your aprons.
ReplyDeleteA night out to see a play. Will the evening include a cup of coffee and slice of pie after the play?
