The moon is high in the sky. The fire's almost out.
We've partied until the cows came home.
May the season fill you with a huge harvest of joy.

Hi Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteNice to read that you had a great time while last summer days are still upon us.
Exactly, rich colors of autumn make the season like a woman dressed up beautifully in ribbons and silks for a party.
In the meantime, You're invited for the Cocktail at my house. A thrilling cocktail, I promise;) In other words, I'm happy to announce that I-give-away. Take a chance for the lovelies I offer.
And, my special thanks for being a reader of my site.
PS Yesterday I mailed the package to you. A registered mail. So no worries, hopefully it'll arrive safe and secure to your side. No longer than the beg of next week.

ReplyDeleteAny leftover soup? I want one more little cup.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to end a lovely day! It was fun! I stopped by because Willow mentioned that you still have plenty of soup. Thought I'd have lunch with you!
ReplyDeleteI love that Camus quote, Steviewren!
ReplyDeleteIs that wheelbarrow for me? I need one to take all those gourds home!
You said it, sister. Well said!
ReplyDeleteWhat glorious aurumn colours, produce and yummy soup.
ReplyDeletethat photo of the cows is a delight, like a Constable painting.
Re. your post above, ever since the famine in Europe after WW2 I've been wary. 15 yrs. ago I bought a farm big enough too house a large extended family and feed them. I've always thought that money is prey to inflation and market crashes, the only thing safe is a piece of dirt you can call your own for our lifetime. Somewere where no one has the right to kick you out... Buck up, it's not all bad.
I am a fool for a good camp fire! Nothing better than sitting around a fire with friends. A chill in the air, good conversation, good music...I have a friend who has a place where time can stand still while we sit by the fire. Did I mention good food and a nice beverage.....
