I'm a Bargain Shopper

I love a good bargain, so you know I couldn't resist when a little neighborhood girl came to the front door yesterday selling manicures for 50 cents each.

Of course, I jumped on her offer and purchased a manicure for both the girls.

  4. Ah, I recall when my mother put the first make up ever on me and made my nails with nail polish and everything. I must have been 6 or 7; that memory is with me to this day and I trassure it so.;)
I am sure the girls will remember this as well.;))

  9. How cute is that!? I'm not sure I'd want my little girl knocking on strangers doors these days but for family friends and well known neighbors I'd guess it'd be OK.

  10. Daryl, yes she does do pedicures for an additional 50 cents.

Pat, I know what you mean. She worked on the porch since she wasn't allowed by her mother to come in. She lives across the street and down just a few houses. Her mother could see her on the porch from her own porch.

  12. How adorable! I absolutely would have purchased a manicure!...did she bring a selection of polishes?

When we were kids, my sister and I would make potholders and sell them in the neighborhood...but this is real entreprenurship!
