Fly Away

Cares fly away in the wind
Cobwebs of doubt swept skyward
Floating so high they're forgotten
In a moment of time
When nature brushes the heart
With the lightness of a bird's song

  5. Love the poem and Bluebird, Stephanie...the background looks like Maidenhair Fern. I have a pair of Bluebirds nesting in one of our nest boxes. Bird songs are part of my morning ritual, a Carolina Wren and Cardinal always compete for my full attention! :) Enjoy spring, Stephanie!

  9. I can't wait to hear the birds singing! It will mean the weather is warmer and I need warm weather! I agree with all the comments, I love the words and the drawing. I am still doing a little cleaning, not a single craft this week!

  13. This is so beautiful and, just reading it, does almost as much for me as listening to bird song.

I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
