Pepper Place Saturday Market

I'd like to spend more summer Saturday mornings here. Unfortunately, I'm not one to jump up and dash out of the house early on the weekends. Today was the exception. I happily wandered down the crowded aisles....fruits, flowers, people and vegetables...everything needed for a fun morning.

I came home with tomatoes for bacon and 'mater sandwiches, a bundle of sunflowers and a jar of squash and zucchini pepper relish.

  1. I know what you mean about not getting out early to the market. I get up early but find it difficult to get to the market but when I see these lovely photos I feel sad that I don't make myself go there. Such yummy fruit and beautiful flowers.

  6. I love farmer's markets and all the wonderful fresh produce and pretty fresh cut flowers they sell. I saw on the Pepper Place web site that artists sell items too?

I know what you mean about the morning thing.
But sometimes when we get up and just do it we feel better.
We have a farmers market here in town, I love to go and just pretend I am in Europe. Funny thing is when I bring home the green stuff I usually and a dork and dont get to it in time and it rots. Gotta stop that.

I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
