Food for the Soul

Perfumes are the feelings of flowers.  ~Heinrich Heine

The oak leave hydrangeas are in full bloom here. Summer is approaching too fast.
I want Spring to last longer!

  2. This is the only month my yard actually looks decent...when the spring blossoms fade that's it...I wish they could last all summer too:)

  6. I know what you mean, I feel like spring has simply just disappeared too fast this year.
At all times I want spring to stop and linger...

  7. Oh, mine are lagging a little behind yours - but they do always signal summer to me, as well!

  8. I just got back from Chicago where it was in the 50's and rainy and windy...brr! It was a fun city to visit!

I can feel the weather getting humid here in NY. It was horrible last summer so I hope it won't be the same this summer.

  9. I love hydrangeas! The white flowers are beautiful! I should think about planting a few. One more thing on my to-do list! The weather here is so inconsistent. One great day followed by three rainy cool days!

  11. I too love the spring, there are many more changes around us, whereas in summer it all becomes static.

  12. Someone remarked today that it would be June in two weeks -- I nearly fainted when I realized they were right! Gorgeous shot here.
