Have I Said It Yet ?

I HATE MOWING

WHY does grass need mowing every weekend?
I'll be glad to see cold weather arrive just so I won't have to do this anymore .

I hope you have better things to do today than I do.

(I posted this last night before I went to bed
)

Yea!!!! I woke up to rain. Which means I can't mow! Unfortunately, it also means I can't wander off looking for things to photograph or draw like I thought I might....guess I'll have to go take a nap. I've been reading the newspaper and a magazine for the past 2 hours and now I'm sleepy....Hello lazy Saturday!

  2. Grass is unrelenting. Just teach yourself to thank God you have a lovely lawn all your own to enjoy. Maybe this will make it easier. I have to remind myself of this embarrassment of riches every time I have to dust inside. UGH... At least mowing the lawn you get a yearly break from the chore. Ha..

  3. aaarrrgghhhh! there are just some tasks that pain the soul, eh? a single friend of mine in my hometown barters the mowing of her grass. she watches her neighbor's dog when they go on vacation in exchange for the neighbor's son mowing the grass. pretty cool exchange!

  4. Luckily, I have no grass to mow.;)) The common grassy areas between the five houses where I live are being maintained by the men in the neighborhood.;))
    Wishing you a nice Saturday, despite it all.;)

  5. I glanced at the title of this post and thought it said, "I hate moving" and I thought, oh my, Stevie's moving and I didn't even know, how did this happen?! I'm glad you're not moving because I think you would hate that even more than mowing, but, yeah, mowing isn't much better.

    Enjoy your long weekend... after the mowing.

  11. Oh, how I wished we lived closer...my oldest LOVES to mow...it is funny....he looks for yards that need mowed and although he appreciates earning money he would do it for FREE he loves doing it so much! I hope he always is like that.

    Hope you had a GREAT Saturday!

  14. I used to hate mowing, but now I have a Neuton and it is actually sort of fun. It doesn't have all the heat, and vibration, and it is lighter and quieter, plus no gas or oil to worry about and it is easy to start - I could do a commercial! Before we had it, I used to accuse my husband and sons of praying for rain when it was mowing day!

I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
