Blind Contour Friday-Week 1

Excuse my breathlessness, but I've been rushing. I may be entering a little late, but by my clock it's still Friday.
I'm ready for some new living room furniture.

To see more Blind Contour Friday entries pop over and see Diahn at Ottwork.

While you're at it...check out Rachel's new blog, Babies and Bargains.

NOTE THE EDIT PLEASE:

Aaaaaa, duh....don't give me too much credit for this contour drawing...I just noticed the pertinent piece of info I heretofore overlooked about this challenge...the word blind...wait til next week...you won't have an idea what the heck you're looking at. I did a continuous line drawing instead of a blind contour....everyone say DUH with me now!

  4. Looks great to me..but I'm not yet ready to try. Art has never been my forte, blind or not. After I unpack and catch up, who knows...maybe I'll give it a try!!!

  9. LOL I'm such an idiot as to art technique that I would not know the difference. Still, it's a great sketch.

  10. ...and here I thought you were a 'blind' genius! I have to admit that when I was drawing my few attempts I peeked a bit too often. (I liked those a lot better!)

    I'm enjoying your blog... :)

  12. so let me get this straight. you're supposed to draw something with your eyes blindfolded? aren't we already handicapped enough at this age? hee hee

  13. Hey just throw in some window shades behind the couch and voila.. you'll have your blinds! ;) I have to admit I followed the links to find out what was meant by blind contour. Now I know and I'll be watching for next time. :)
