Last night while watching this movie
for the millionth time, Rachel and I decided to make decorations Elf style.
I grabbed some scissors and printer paper and we started cutting paper snowflakes. I've got to admit...it is a lot harder than I thought it was.
Once finished we were stumped on how to hang them to advantage. Finally, I grabbed the tape and stuck them to my front windows.
tiny snippets of paper everywhere
Bye Rachel, it was fun!
They look great mom. I had tons of fun with you. Elf, scissors, paper, pizza, and family. What could be better on a Saturday night.
ReplyDeletestevie, they are so elegant! Maybe it was complicated but they turned out so well. The shadows are really nice. I think it takes a daughter. My sons said, "You've got to be kidding."

ReplyDeleteAh what a wonderful memory you both made too! I lurve the shadows on the carpet, WOW! Very fun! I remember hanging them up as a child with the curling ribbon my Mom used for wrapping presents and she would tack them to the ceiling and such. Fun memories for me too! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAre you working this week or have you started vacation? Hope you get to enjoy some time off this holiday away from the phones.
By the way, did you end up going to church last night to see the performance? How was it?
ReplyDeleteChaChaneen, nope no vacation for the weary this week...in fact corp is pushing us harder than ever....as if people are going to make payments on Christmas eve....
