Unexpected

I think the color combination of these flowers is unexpectedly appealing. I hope my next job is the same.

Sorry I've been absent from the virtual world. I've been feeling quiet this week. I'm sure I'll find my voice soon.

  1. Just having a catch up Steviewren. So glad you had a fun refreshing holiday but what a jolt to come home to! Good luck with your job search - I really hope it takes you in a more satisfying and creative direction.

Enjoy your time away from the corporate hullabaloo!

  11. I have been a bad blogger lately. Not doing much blogging or visiting. Looks like you had a nice vacation. I would love a girls weekend! Hope your feeling better. That pain reliever sounds, interesting. Sorry to hear about your job situation. I hope you find something in the creative field or at least a job you love. The flowers are beautiful, I love petunias.
Love your quote of the week! I can just imagine myself sitting in one of those chairs reading a book.

  15. I think when life rocks you back on your heels, you do find yourself quiet and wordless, watching to see what comes next. You'll be okay, Stevie. Really. I predict that five years from now, you will be looking back and thinking, "This is when my life truly, TRULY began again." I promise.

  16. The flowers are beautiful, Stevie, just the kind of vibrant colors I like. Did you see the pictures of my son's wedding?

  17. so sorry you lost your job!! even though you knew for some time that it might be coming, i know it is still a huge shock to your system. i was in the same situation in 2008. my advice is to relax and get your arms around what you truly want to do next. don't rush into anything. ((hugs))

I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
