Random Thoughts

This is my new desktop background.  I need to see green growing things.

It's been four full days since it snowed.  My yard has the same coverage today as it did on that first morning. This may be no biggie for those of you who receive regular snows. Not for us here in the South. Here, it's snow today...gone tomorrow usually.

I learned something. You can call the Highway Dept. and request that they send out a truck to sand your street.

Today, I drove off my hill for the first time this week.

I had a job interview.

I think it went well.

My fingers are crossed.

It's time for me to go back to work.

I better get my closet cleaning done tomorrow....just in case.

  3. It's time for me to go back to work, as well, stevie, but I think, maybe, after two years, I should just accept that I'm retired. Except that I am not even scraping by on my half pension and social security! Wish there were something I could do from home - or that my poetry book would become a best selle! Afraid that's not going to happen, though!

good luck to you - hope you get that job, if it's what you wanted.

    Stay warm!

  6. Exactly right. Snow today and gone tomorrow. Our snow is entirely gone and there is none in the forecast this next week. Maybe we will have an early spring?

  10. Hope the job is yours, Steviewren...the Sunflower desktop background does warm things up, our snow is hanging on too, it does make everything look peaceful though...it's the frigid cold that gets to me, but we may get up to 40* Monday.
