listening to the Macy's parade on television while I cook in the kitchen
cornbread dressing
delicious smells
the warmth of being with family
joking around and telling stories
the best dishes on the table
pumpkin and pecan pies
the leftovers
counting my blessings
giving thanks

    Your list is wonderful. I have missed my visits. I am so right there with you on the Cornbread Dressing. Yummy for the tummy. We have so much to be thankful for, especially such sweet friends. We need to meet in 2010. We're only a couple of hours apart. Let's make a plan. Happy Thanksgiving!!

    I only made cornbread stuffing once ...for my Virgina born Daughter-in-law :-) Here in the NE most eat sausage chestnut and bread stuffing....more savory but equally delicious! Hope you had a wonderful day ...no parade for me this year as I couldn't chance it with my foot problem. Maybe next year!
