Oh I do too. He's a favourite of mine. I love the whimsy and the tenderness.
I love his paintings and portrayals of Americana...they always make me smile and bring back memories of good times past and hopes for the future!
Perfect sentiment - so true this is, we need to keep our childish mind and see life from the lighter side.;)xo
yes i didn't much like him when i was young, but now he just makes me roflol.
My best wishes for Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Stephanie. Enjoy the holiday!

I love Rockwell as well! Of course you know I have always favored realism over impressionism. I also appreciate the way he takes his viewers back to a simpler time in life.
I love him also and didn't realized how many T-days he did. Thanks for all of those.Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
I made it back! ha ha Taking a breather to stop by and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! Lurve the pictures of Rockwell, he continues to move me with his craft.
I love Rockwell, too! Looks like you're doing some renovations over here! Nice!
Hey, have you seen the book that's out right now with the photos of his real life models, along with the paintings? It's so cool.
Happy Thanksgiving Stevie. We don't celebrate it here and it's such a pity. It seems you have such a great time and of course the whole meaning behind it is so wonderful. And I just love the humor in the cards.
the thing that attracts me to his work the most is the humor!
These are such great pictures. You always come up with the best stuff. I pray you have a great Thanksgiving.
He's always been one of my favorite artists/illustrators. I was thrilled to see his entire Saturday Evening post cover painting collection at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC one year. There was so much wonderful detail, and his colors were so vibrant.
I've always been a big Norman Rockwell fan. Love the way he captures the joy of everyday life.
I'm thankful that I have finally had some time to catch up on some of my favorite blogs!...Love the movie recomendations...and love Norman Rockwell illustrations...not long ago I visited the Rockwell museum in western MA...at his old home and studio...his studio is still set up as though he could walk in and paint...
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
