Frightful weather/Delightful sunlight

It's frigid outside, so I'm trying to make some inside fun today. (that's my way of saying I'm using avoidance behavior rather than getting on with the cleaning my house needs)

trying to capture the sun in the kitchen window

attempting to catch reflections on the hall wall

pretty sparkles (trying to imitate Char here)

crackling with age

don't ya know the little birdie told me so!

  1. Isn't it amazing how we take the sun for granted during the warmer times of year and when winter comes calling...the sun takes on a whole new roll of most appreciated guest.

  7. Avoidance behavior? You say that like it's a bad thing. I baked two batches of cinnamon rolls and regular rolls today. I was avoiding heading outside to bleed brakes with Tim. Now he's sitting here waiting on me. *sigh* I'm out of avoidance behaviors. Gotta go.

  14. When that cold weather makes it less appealing to be outside, indoor shots such as these are so much fun to take. And even more fun to share. They're lovely. Thanks for that. :)

  15. Rays of sunshine are so welcome on these cold snowy days. I'm always inspired by light and shadow and the pattern they create through the glass on your window ledge is pretty. I love little birdie!
