My 'decor' is sort of adult college with a lot of table top still lifes .... would it fit, sure, but I think its more suited for outdoors.. I think I would like an umbrella with graffiti
As with any designs and art, I try to find something appealing in it. And also as with any trend, we tend to get assimilated by it and end up liking it. However, even though I can see the point with graffiti as an art form, it somehow does not fit as a design into my house.;) Have a lovely Friday, xo Zuzana
Very interesting! I find graffiti works to be free form art of the life. I also took some nice graffities, and will be showing on my page soon:)
By the way, I'm very keen on production/construction/even mining galleries. Pls pls pls share yours with us when you can take photos of any sort of this happening there in your part, Steph (as you commented on mine).
i'm afraid it's not for me either, it only makes me think of sytreet graffiti, which is not always pretty. good post though and good pics. how ya doing stevie?
i actually love the lamp and have seen some cute grafitti pillows lately. the rest of it is a bit much for my home but i'd appreciate seeing it other places.
Some graffiti can look quite attractive but I think that because we are bombarded with too much rubbish graffiti we are emotionally anti towards it. I am. - Dave
I'm not a big fan of graffiti used as a decor design per se , but I do admire the creativity in it when I see it used as part of the urban landscape in a non vandalizing way.
Not a big fan. I think walls, vehicles, body-tattoos are okay, but I draw the line at my decor (no pun intended).
ReplyDeletei think the napkins and plates are cool but it wouldn't fit into my decor at all

ReplyDeleteWonder if I could find the food on that plate! ;-)
ReplyDeleteDoesn't fit at all...
ReplyDeleteDoesn't fit with mine either. While you might think me childish at times I am not child-like in my decor.
ReplyDeleteI love that lampshade too:)...I think it would fit somewhere in my house...
ReplyDeleteInteresting...
ReplyDeleteI like it more in subway stations and on trains though:)

I don't think I care for it, except for the light fixture, maybe.
