The Eye of the Beholder

One job in the banking industry + President's Day = a long weekend.

It's a beautiful thing.

*************

These signs have been popping up all over town.  Graffiti?  I don't think so. I like them.

  1. A nice way to beautify the place. Is it a town project?

  3. Hilary, I don't know, but this is what I read in a local online newspaper article:

The "You Are Beautiful" phrase is supported by a national group of the same name that says it encourage phrase's use in such public spaces as a way "to make a difference by creating moments of positive self realization. We're just attempting to make the world a little better."

  15. This reminds me of Operation Beautiful...I wonder if it's affiliated with that at all. Regardless, I'd love to see that kind of positive energy in my town. Very cool.

  17. What nice thoughts. I'd like to see people say positive things like that to each other more often. I hate always hearing kids on steet corners putting each other down. I can't believe the language I'd hear, walking the three blocks from our office to the hospital, passing bus stop where teens would wait for the city bus to get to school. And the insults they'd hurl at each other!

I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
