I often dream of seeing houses and deciding I'd like to see the inside. And then I explore. That clutter on the porch would be a typical feature in a dream.. odd but interesting.
Well... maybe they're fans of 'eating out'.... :)SarahTheweatheredword.blogspot.com
Yes, I can see why it got you wondering, let us know if you find out about that kitchen furniture. How's your head now?
That looks like one that has been broken up into apartments. I'm sure it was once a grand home. Probably one of the tenants was evicted and that's where the furniture landed. There's even a fridge. Or maybe it's an "open concept" design! :)
Happy Presidents’ Pets Day - the day after Presidents' Day, as I like to call it. See my blog for a good ol' howl.
Maybe it was originally a two family house and the owner is remodeling, putting new flooring down in the kitchen...there's a ladder and new work being done on the upper deck also. When first married, I lived in a similar two family house in Columbus, Ohio. My husband's aunt lived next door, her sister had once lived in our half.
I too am curious about big old homes. I could be a professional home observer if there was such a thing. tee hee.
LOL i'm always curious too
That is a grand one! Maybe a kitchen renovation? How fun!
I love walking about older parts of towns and looking at houses and wondering about them...and I take every chance I can to go on those house and garden tours that happen now and then. ...how about a little lunch on the porch?
Ha Ha, looks like a remodel with no rails on the balconies upstairs too. Oh if the walls could talk!
I do too! I do too! I love to spin tales about WHO lives there, and WHAT they do! This is a grand place! Kitchen stuff on the porch...early spring cleaning? That is a far fetch.
I am curious, too. You don't see many homes like that out here but I used to see them all the time as a child driving about the South, before the days of the interstates.
Friends of ours remodeled their kitchen and in order to have the stove they wanted AND still keep the 'breakfast nook' they had to move their fridge to the hallway outside the kitchen .... its just so weird
It looks like a really big house. Do you think the owners are renovating?
I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
