Yesterday I Piddled

I never got dressed. I spent the day wandering through the house putting stuff away, washing dishes, playing on the computer and working on some crafty projects. It was a heavenly Saturday.

I made this tag and altered the surface of some advertising postcards that came in the mail recently. I've got plans for them later.

Today, I will have to make up for the time I "wasted" yesterday. That's okay. I loved every minute of it.

  1. Well that's a much better way to spend the day than how I originally thought you meant by piddle.

  7. Okay people, I was using piddle in reference to meaning #1!

    pid·dle (pdl)

To use triflingly; squander: piddle away one's time.
    v.intr.
    1. To spend time aimlessly; diddle.
    2. Informal To urinate.

  8. I love the tag. I always love your creations! I seem to piddle away lots of days. I am sure that is not correct English grammar. However, I don't see an English teacher in the room.

  9. It doesn't sound like you wasted the day Saturday. You got the dishes done, put things away, etc. It sounds like a productive day spent in PJs.

  16. I, too, had a lazy day yesterday. I watched three movies on Netflix and it was totally wonderful except that I got a sore butt. I should have lay in bed part of the time!
