Lost?

No, I'm not lost. I'm thinking about the Thursday night 2 hour season end show. I used to try to figure out the plot but I gave up about 1 year and 1/2 ago. Now I just watch for the sheer fantasy/fun of it.

Am I all alone here or are there any Lost fans out there? What's your theory? Who is your favorite character? What is going on on that island?

Is anyone else as lost as me? I'm not sure that tomorrow night's episode will do anything to clear this mind fog of mine. Oh well, just for the fun then.....

  1. My husband and daughter started watching the show the first season. Not many show a father and a teenage daughter can watch together. They lost interest when the show took a break mid season. I watched a few episodes, I liked what I saw. I would like to know what is really going on, on the island. Do you think the writers actually had a plan? I am not sure anyone thought it would be such a hit.

  2. Denise, they have to have a plan...please tell there is a plan! I really wonder how it is all going to end. With all the paths the plot has wandered down, I wonder if the solution will be anti-climatic.

  3. I was just going to blog about this! Great minds! We'll be glued to the tube all evening...This, along with the original CSI(Las Vegas), is about all the Network TV that we bother with( It's usually PBS for us)...But, we got hooked on this show during its first season and try to never miss. Desmond is my favorite character but you have to love Sawyer! We used to think they were all dead and in pergatory but now I have no clue what to think. Like you, we stopped trying to figure out the plot and now just watch for the entertainment( and for me watching Henry Ian Cusack is quite nice) :D

  4. I'll have to admit I am totally lost when it comes to Lost. Out of the loop completely.

  5. Like I said over at Rebecca's site, I dont' watch this show, but there seems to be a lot of buzz and talk about it. I wonder if anyone can provide a brief synopsis? Is it a reality show?

Sounds like you enjoy it immensely, Steviewren, so like I told Rebecca, don't worry about plot at all....

  6. Hi Stevierren!

I am finally back from our trip to Ireland! We had a wonderful time as you can imagine ... thanks for your suggestions.

My daughter loves the show "Lost" but I never got into it. I'm not a big TV watcher exceopt for movies and the news. I seem to be more addicted to the computer these days, but I have to admit it was nice to be "computer free" for almost two weeks! :-)

  7. Rebecca, glad to find a fellow devotee. We'll have to discuss our theories after tonight's show.

Willow, you don't know what you are missing.

Lavinia, the show is so complex...I don't know what the plot is...there was a plane crash...the survivors are trapped on a strange island with another group of people known as the others...strange things happen...there are lots of flash backs and flash forwards...

Pat, welcome home. I can't wait to hear about your trip. I'll be on over to your place later today to hear all about it. I know you had fun!

  8. New to your blog. Saw you on "The Smitten Image" and liked what you said. I haven't watched this show, I don't watch TV, only occasionally. I did want to comment on your 9 year old thoughts which made me laugh out loud...FABULOUS! I too am the oldest and my middle sister got to do EVERYTHING before I did! She got her ears pierced at 9 and I had to wait until I was 13! I loved that you whistled in the bathtub - makes me worry about my almost 9 year old and wonder if I should be leaving him alone in the tub. I do yell his name up the stairs at random intervals to make sure he answers back and hasn't been taken down the drain by some unknown creature :)

Overall - great thoughts! I look foward to more. Trixie Beldon and Nancy Drew ROCK!

  10. Hi, I found you thru Betsy's blog. I just had to comment b/c I'm totally addicted to LOST!! Tonight's finale answered some questions, but of course raised many more. Doesn't it drive you crazy? ha! Hope you had fun watching it, too.

  11. Hi lora, thanks for visiting. I loved the show, but I don't know much more than I did before tonight. I was wondering what happened to Desmond so that got answered. Do you really think Jin is dead? I don't think I do. Heck, on this show no one is ever dead...or are they all dead? What about Locke...is he going to be raised from the dead once back on the island...how did he get off the island....well, the questions could go on and on.
