2008-A Year In The Life Calendar

I bundled up my 2008 desk calendar and brought it home yesterday. I'm going to make a front and back cover for it, add binder rings and voila...I will have encapsulated a year in my life.

Keeping a visual record of my year was fun. Some days the entries were just doodles, some days I recorded the day's happenings and some days I used the calendar as a place to vent.

My 2009 calendar is waiting for me....I'll do this again next year.

I thought you might like a look.

  2. You have just inspired me! I have written in and saved my daily calendar for the past 10 or so years (started when I was worried about losing my memeory!) but I never got the large size calendar to draw on...altho I'm not an artist like you are I am doing it! I checked out your flickr site and your art work is great! Love your new header!

  8. You have a calendar like no other! It should go to the Smithsonion - right next to the ruby slippers!

  9. I am so impressed with your journaling. Muse Swings told me I should come over for a look. She was right this is fantastic. Very powerful stuff on such a small scale.

My Boss uses this type of calendar. I will never look at it the same way again. She better not leave any pages blank or I might sneak in a drawing or two. Ha...

I wish you the best of 2009...

But I hav difficulties in buying the same calendar page as yours.
Luckily I found a calendar which is day by page & pages.
I'm starting it in the New Year too.

Besides, I really admire at your sketching, I also want to train myself on this new year too.
