You know, if there are any shoe manufacturers out there, adult sized pretty princess shoes should start rolling off the line shortly. You and Diahn may have your chance yet!
Ah yes, I too wanted to be a Cinderella and wear pretty shoes.;)) When I was a kid, shoes like those existed only in the fairy tales and my imagination.;) Now I have a niece that shares the same dreams and she want everything to be in pink as well.;))
Ohhhh, there has to be a pretty pair of pink slippers out there that you could buy. My daughter told me that Barbie is turing 50 this year. A lot of stores are doing Barbie campaigns. denise
Oh that brings back memories. When my sister and I were little we did have a pair of what we called Cinderella shoes. They were clear plastic with glittery gold inside what appeared to be tiny bubbles. A wide elasticized strap adorned with a small white and yellow flower bridged the top of the shoe where we'd slip our toes. I'll bet the clip-clopping through the house drove my mother nuts.
I cannot tell you how many pair of these my mother bought me when I was little! I always broke the heels off and tried to glue them on to no avail......before super glue! They still had not improved them when I bought them for my own daughter!
Thanks for the kind words you left on my final post. I appreciate it. I'll be stopping by from time to time to check out your posts. In the mean time, be blessed and remember that it is Christ in us, the hope of glory! Strider
Those shoes are only good if you don't have to actually walk. I wonder how many little girls have twisted an ankle or scraped a knee trying to wear that silliness. Keep in mind: Barbie does not have to walk!
When I was a kid, I refused to wear anything pink, frilly, or even girly related----and now I can't wear enough of that stuff. I went from 100% tomboy to a total girly girl in just a few short years.
I still want to wear shoes like that.
