Pincushions, Patterns and Project Runway

Fans of Project Runway, it's time to get out your needles, threads and stylish pincushions. Get ready to make a 3 piece suit using the best lawn turf available or maybe a cocktail dress out of products bought at the local Dollar Store. Like my mother used to say...put on your thinking caps kiddies and get ready to create something fabulous from nothing.

Watch Season 7 starting tonight on Lifetime with me. I'd love to have someone to talk with about the show the day after.

Speaking of something fabulous. Don't you think this wildflower pincushion is a cutie?

You can find easy instructions here.

  2. I will be right there with you sister. I must check the schedule and see what time. I think the people are interesting. Yes, kooky sometimes, but I respect their artistic abilities so much. We will talk about it tomorrow.

  6. You have a great blog here. I like checking out travel blogs much like yours at times. I have a blog myself which I hope will be a great resource for those looking to go on vacation. I want everyone to get that "vacation feeling" every time they come to my site. You know what I'm talking about.

I'd like to exchange links with you to help spread some traffic around between each other. Please let me know if this is possible. Until then, keep up the good work.

  7. The needle cushions are very cute.;) I do not watch that show, I am not sure they send it here. That is the problem, sometimes the television will broadcast some US shows, then the will stop them abruptly and one never know when they will return. It is so annoying.
I hope you will have a great Friday:)

  8. We don't get that TV programme over here but we used to have something similar called Changing Rooms where they would make things out of, well, other things! Great fun. The pin cushion is sweet - bright and colourful.

Have a great weekend. Jeanne x

  11. Stevie, that is one show I don't watch. My favorite shows are the forensic ones but I do, occasionally, watch Dancing with the Stars and the Bachelor.

I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
