So I played in Photoshop instead. I kind of like the outcome.
I think the dramatic effects reinforce the iron man's reputation as god of the fire.Last night, I drove home by the light of a beautiful full moon. I tried once again to take a picture of the night sky. My camera is just not powerful enough...so using one of the almost totally black photos I played in Photoshop until it looked like this:
At Wal-Mart yesterday I braved funny stares from the elderly greeter to take pictures of the gumball machine at the entrance. This picture has a slight fuzzy filter added to it to soften the edges.
Bubblegum anyone?
I don't have Photoshop as yet but I can see it's fun to use.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about not having strong enough camera for taking pictures of the moon, it bothers me too. But I think your picture turned out very well.;)

The great delight of photoshop is to take a shot that did not quite make it for whatever reason and then r=to creatively resurrect it in a new form. Your shots are a perfect example of how creative this process can be.

ReplyDeleteI too lurve the second photo! It looks like a still from a movie! This would make a great choice for doing that abstract story thing that Willow hosts. It would be interesting to see what the different writers can come up with!
