Pencil in Time to Enjoy the Season

Are you one of those super organized people? You know the type. They start planning in August or September and are completely finished with all holiday preparations by early November. Or are you like me, in a count down with the clock to get it all done?

  1. Yes, I'm like you.. I have to get Christmas Cards addressed tonight. And by the way, Stevie... your sketch on you calendar is great... but you better get going on that list there, girl, time is slipping by! We have to get busy!:) The Bach

  2. This Christmas is a wash....I think folks understand. I am still overwhelmed by the job loss in February and all that has happened since. I just can't get into the spirit of the season. No tree yet and I am not planning on one. Got out the decoration but, the only thing that went up, is the advent calendar wall hanging I made when the boys were little. Next year, I will do better.

  3. I do some things ahead. I don't have to do a lot though so I don't feel overwhelmed. I hope you get finished so you can relax and enjoy your family.

  5. Thank you Steviewren for your kind birthday wishes!

I always leave my Christmas preparations until December if I can - it then makes the month really special as I love all the preparations for Christmas.
Great drawing and fab new header!

  10. I like to THINK I am super organized and in many ways I am...but bottom line...I am NOT done and there is MUCH to do...

Oh, and I do not "doodle" nearly as expertly as you do! I would smile just looking at your sketches in my Day Planner!

  14. Just like you! (except I can't draw so beautifully). I've got so much to do and am beginning to flap because I don't know how I can possibly get it all done before christmas eve.

  15. This was the most unusual December for me ..I am usually so organized and have tree up, cards out, presents wrapped, dozens of cookies made, etc etc, by middle of the month. This year everything was late and my baking has yet to be done and will be less. But I'm finding it a good lesson that things change and change can be good sometimes. I'm trying not to get stressed over it and dwell on the important things.

I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!

I'm glad you stopped by and I look forward to your comments. As Dr. Fraser Crane would say, "Hello, I'm listening."
