On Today's Menu

First there is the yard to mow.

Next there will be some light housecleaning duties to take care of.

Shopping is next. This is the birthday season in our family.

Finally, some fun and relaxation will be in order. A friend and I plan to see Blue Hawaii in the this historic old downtown theater tonight.

Enjoy your Saturday!

  1. your saturday sounds delightful! enjoy! my hubby and i are cutting and sanding wood for collages . . . trying to get a big supply done in true production line fashion. we're almost done, yeah!!

  2. Fun post! Lets seeee- I've got no agenda whatsoever. Except maybe to get some dog food for the pups, check on my battery supply for T.S.Fay's arrival, and do what ever else I feel like. Maybe I'll pop over to see that movie with you!

  3. Is Ward going to watch Wally and the Beaver!!!!! LOL

  4. Yes, I look just like this while doing my housecleaning chores, too, except she doesn't have on pearls! :)

  5. Sounds like you are having a fun night at the movie. Let us know how it turned out!

  6. I had a fine day too. Up at 7, to practice the fine art of drywalling. And then I came home, took a shower, made a vegetable quiche and babysat my 5 month old grand niece. She's so cute. Her mother insisted on taking her home with her at the end of the night. Selfish woman!

  7. I am trying to get rid of a lot of stuff that I have collected over the past 25 years of living in this house. My few days away from blogging have been spent doing just that. How many drinking glasses does one family need? So my weekend has been spent cleaning...boring
I did however have a great piece of carrot cake at my favorite restaurant tonight!
    Hope your weekend was wonderful!

  8. Blue Hawaii! That's the Elvis movie, right? Pure escapism fun....haven't seen it in years....must remedy that...
